While the Club does of course have insurance on all aircraft, members are required to carry their own non owned hull insurance.

This can be purchased from AOPA, EAA, or the Grohs agency through Starr insurance.

How the Club handles insurance and potentially and gap insurance or self-insurance may change from time to time, based on an ever changing insurance marketplace. Any changes in policies and member requirements will be discussed during club meetings and reflected in club minutes, emails or other communications.

We will require each member to email a copy of your completed policy to insurance@wfchpn.com  after which you will be enabled to schedule aircraft in Schedulemaster.

The Westchester Flying Club offers an aircraft ownership experience in a club environment with safe, economical light aircraft options.
